Events and Tradeshows
Our Country Roads lead us around the globe starting with record attendance at AGG1 in Nashville.
Among others were Hillhead in the UK, Exponor in Chile, MINExpo in Las Vegas and 18 state association events.
In addition to Coal Protec, we joined our friends in the coal industry at the inaugural
West Virginia Coal Show in Charleston and Coal Symposium in Princeton, WV.
We were proud to celebrate our Conn-Weld Employees and spotlight Southern West Virginia as stop #52 of a AEM Manufacturing Express of their National Tour.
We joined voices with our friends in DC from National Sand, Stone & Gravel for Hill Day to advocate for our industry.
Community
Conn-Weld continued to engage schools throughout our region by hosting tours, participating in programs, and partnering with educators.
A sustainability initiative now includes a recycling program that saved pounds from going into the landfill.
Our 2024 philanthropic giving included various local non-profits in addition to supporting our educational institutions.
When Hurricane Helene swept through our region we sought to first help folks in our own localities.
We then partnered with local business and those able in our community by hosting Helene Relief Drive. The response was overwhelming, filling 2 trucks of supplies that were delivered to our neighbors in Western North Carolina.
Our Growth
At Conn-Weld, we believe that we are #DefinedbyOurPeople, and this couldn’t be truer with 2024 bringing us to a total of 360 employees to date.
From the people behind our products, to sales team additions and new members to our leadership team, we are excited to see our organization grow in terms of employees and square footage. The new 110,000 sq ft expansion takes us to a total of 500,000 sq ft housing additional manufacturing space, an inventory warehouse, new offices with a large conference room and training facility.
2025 Outlook
Our 50th Anniversary will be the overarching theme throughout 2025 with several celebratory occasions, the first being AGG1. We’ll celebrate with our friends in the coal industry at the WV Coal Show and Bluefield Coal Show. We have new products on the horizon while paying homage to the products that built us. On October 16th, the date of our anniversary, we will hold a ceremony here at Conn-Weld with an official ribbon cutting of our new expansion.
